This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this spin the wheel site. The short version is simple. We built the tool so that your lists never reach us, and this page explains how that works in practice.

Your Lists Stay on Your Device
Every name or option you type into the wheel is stored only in your own browser, in a browser feature called local storage. Your entries are never uploaded to our server, never sent to us, and never visible to anyone on our team. We could not read your class list, your giveaway entries, or your dinner options even if we wanted to, because a copy never leaves your device.
This also means your list lives and dies with your browser. If you clear your browser data, use a different browser, or move to a new device, the saved list is gone. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it. If a list matters, keep a copy in a document of your own.
No Accounts and No Sign-Up Data
The tool has no registration and no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or a password, and there is no profile to fill in. If you never tell us who you are, there is very little we could possibly hold about you.
Cookies
The tool sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies for visitors. Spinning the wheel does not plant anything on your device for marketing or analytics purposes. Standard WordPress cookies exist on this site, but they only come into play for logged-in site administrators who manage the pages. Ordinary visitors who come to spin never receive them. Your entries are kept in local storage, which is a normal part of how the tool remembers your list between visits on the same device.
Basic Server Logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs when pages are served. These can include an IP address, the type of browser, which page was requested, and the time of the request. Hosting providers keep these records to run the service and to spot abuse or attacks. We do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not sell them.

Some pages here link out to other websites. Once you follow one of those links, that site handles your information under its own privacy policy, not this one. It is worth a quick read of their policy if you plan to share anything there.
Changes to This Policy
If the way the site works ever changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date at the top. The core promise stays the same: your lists stay in your browser.
